Chris Benoit is arguabley one of the best technical wrestlers in the industry today, we are taken into Benoit's journey from his early days in Canada all the way to the WWE.

  • WCW

Highs and Lows

There are few wrestlers that despite everything you just respect and this was a montage and ahistory of just why you should respect Chris Benoit, not only as a wrestler but as a person. Sometimes matter of factly, sometimes very emotional, Chris goes through his history and guides us through his own personal thoughts.

The UMD is of course out of date, as Wrestlemania 20 has been and gone and the WWE always looks forwards and I would say that sometimes it gets the usual soppy sad story treatment, but in the end you realise that, when you have someone like Chris Benoit, you seem to share in the story and at least learn a little about the guy.

This is a great companion for a journey and to keep people quite for a few hours, balance wise, with the extras I think this UMD is great value for money, if needing modernising a little.

UMD Extras

  • Chris Benoit vs Al Snow 02/04/95
  • Chris Benoit vs Booker T 06/14/05
  • Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle 06/11/01

Three great quality matches full of fast holds and is essential viewing for technical wrestling fans.

Overall

Great UMD with a great story and some great wrestling matches, which balances up the need for quick use or long term watching that the PSP is designed to be. It's no frills, but it's worth the money.
