The Cynic writes a not-to-be-missed column for the Talk Wrestling Online newsletter and Wrestling 101. He began his long love of wrestling in 1985, watching Georgia Wrestling, and quickly graduated to WWF/E. His particular faves from that era were Rick Rude and Jake Roberts, with Hulk Hogan always a cue for the off button. His favourite PPV is Royal Rumble 1992, with Ric Flair's superb ring work and Bobby Heenan's wonderful commentary never having been equalled. He enjoyed watching the dying days of WCW, equating it to the grisly fascination of watching a bird with only one wing trying to fly. ECW was a favoured promotion, but he expects great things from Ring of Honor, his current favourite. His pick for the future is Christopher Daniels, and his snooze of the moment is anyone with the word "behemoth" attached to them.
The Cynic is reviewer for numerous magazines, and is also an actor; he can currently be seen in two TV adverts, and will soon be appearing in a prime-time soap opera.
