The Last Rant
by Simon Lamb on 9 September 2004
After almost 3 years of writing for the site, and years of complaining about the WWE, I have decided that this will be my last article. This is my last rant...

Randy Orton - A Reality Check
by Simon Lamb on 1 September 2004
Alloha, Simon here again, this time off the back of a very strange Summerslam, and looking forward (or not) to Unforgiven. Of course although getting a decent topic to discuss out of the WWE is as hard to get as blood from a stone these days there is one topic that has divided us all. And that is Randy Orton. Termed as many as “the future of the WWE” read on for why some people may be getting just a bit too excited about Mr. Orton...

WWE SummerSlam 2004 Rant
by Simon Lamb on 13 August 2004
Another summer, another WWE grand slam PPV. Summerslam 2004 is just around the corner, and you know your life would be empty without me to moan about the state of affairs in the “number one” wrestling company in the world. Of course, like at Wrestlemania and the other grandslam PPVs, the wrestlers always seem to give that bit extra… though can that compensate for what is again perhaps a bit of a disappointing card?

The Great American Shambles
by Simon Lamb on 30 June 2004
The Great American Bash 2004, an event that will live long in the memory of wrestling fans. For that night was the darkest night in the history of the WWE. That was the night that Bradshaw, long term member of the APA, became World Wrestling Entertainment World Champion. That was the night that Vince McMahon crossed the line. How much is a fan supposed to take?

WWE Wrestlemania XX - Is that it?
by Simon Lamb on 13 March 2004
It’s Wrestlemania time again... and another perfect excuse for me to start moaning. I’m trying folks... but pinch me to make sure it is actually... because for what is probably the biggest event in the WWE’s history, it’s looking like it’s going to be pretty mediocre. I really hope I end up being wrong, but looking at the card...

THWD: The case for a WWE off-season By Tink Holloway on 3 May 2008
My goodness, how long ago does Wrestlemania seem already!? Despite the WWE’s attempts to link everything they could at Backlash with WM24, the night felt far detached from the bright lights of the Citrus Bowl. It’s a shame that there is so little time to take in what happened at the biggest event of the [...]
THWD: MMA and Wrestling? By Tink Holloway on 25 April 2008
I’d like to make a survey asking fans of professional wrestling why it is that they watch it. I wonder how many of them would answer because it’s a form of combat? I only wonder about this because over the last 3 or 4 years I’ve become increasingly perplexed at the close proximity of sports-entertainment [...]
THWD: UK - The WWE?s nice little earner By Tink Holloway on 18 April 2008
Ever since I was very young and watched my first WWE (F as it was at the time) pay-per-view, Royal Rumble 1994, I had always wanted to see it live. The way Vince McMahon would assure everybody that the arena had gone cold when The Undertaker came out and the fan reaction to Bret Hart?s [...]
KR: The Road to WrestleMania By Robert Heard on 29 March 2008
Right, well it is well known that I am a Puro writer and have never written on the subject of American Wrestling. But a Puro blog on the eve of WrestleMania seems wrong, not in the least because WrestleMania is not a Japanese event at all?HustleMania is but then the less said about that the [...]
KR: The BIG Statement with a BIG Show By Robert Heard on 29 March 2008
| So WrestleMania, the biggest event on the calendar for wrestling fans will be a huge event. It will be the second ever to be held completely outdoors. It is reported it will pump twenty five million into the local economy and bring 60,000 people to Orlando as well.
