AJPW Osaka results 16/1/05, titles on the line.

AJPW ran a huge show in Osaka today with the Triple Crown on the line and also the vacant AJPW World Tagf titles being decided in an inter-promotional match between TanaYoshie of NJPW and Jamal and Kea of AJPW who won the Real World Tag League... Here are the full results.... 

AJPW, 1/16/05
Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium

1. Masanobu Fuchi & Akira Raijin beat Nobutaka Araya & Nobukazu Hirai (6:32) when Fuchi used an inside cradle on Araya.
2. Ebessan  beat NOSAWA Rongai (8:21).
3. Love Machine Arashi & Mini Love Machine beat TAKA Michinoku  (8:14) when Mini used an avalanche ddt on MAZADA.
4. Toshizo & Katsuhiko Nakajima beat Taichi Ishikari & Kaz Hayashi (13:06) when Toshizo used a flying crossarmbreaker on Ishikari.
5. TARU & Johnny Stamboli beat Keiji Muto & Tomoaki Honma (13:06) when TARU used the TARU Driller on Honma.
6. Kohei Suwama Trial Series 2nd: Satoshi Kojima beat Kohei Suwama (14:03) with a lariat.
7. AJPW World Tag Team Title: Taiyo Kea & Jamal beat Hiroshi Tanahashi & Yutaka Yoshie (27:15) when Jamal used the flying body splash on Yoshie (Jamal & Kea become 51st champions).
8. Triple Crown: Toshiaki Kawada (c) beat Kensuke Sasaki (23:27) with a face kick (10th defense).

After the main event Kojima came down and offically challenged Kawada for a Triple Crown match... It may happen on the 16/2/05 which is the date set for the one on one collision of Tanahashi and Muto!

2. (1/18/04 @ Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium) Toshiaki Kawada beat Genichiro Tenryu (17:59) with a brainbuster (2nd defense).
3. (2/22/04 @ Tokyo Nippon Budokan) Toshiaki Kawada beat Shinya Hashimoto  (19:57) by TKO (3rd defense).
4. (5/8/04 @ Yokohama Arena) Toshiaki Kawada beat Mick Foley (12:56) with a face kick (4th defense).
5. (6/12/04 @ Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium) Toshiaki Kawada beat Jamal (18:01) by referee stop (5th defense).
6. (7/18/04 @ Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan) Toshiaki Kawada beat Takao Omori (22:36) with a face kick (6th defense).
7. (9/3/04 @ Yokohama Bunka Gymnasium) Toshiaki Kawada beat Osamu Nishimura  (27:12) with a running face kick (7th defense).
