IWF CHAMPIONSHIP
'BAD BOY' JED MASTERS v CHRIS WHITTON

Gateshead will see IWF Champion 'Bad Boy' Jed Masters defend his belt for the second time as he faces Tees-side's Chris Whitton. Whitton last appeared in IWF a year ago as he and Kid Richie came close to winning the IWF Tag Team titles, and he also has the distinction of being the only non-IWF wrestler to enter the 'Tournament of Faith, when he was knocked out by Jed Masters in the 2005 tournament. The challenger has improved a great deal over the last year, gaining a great deal of strength and experience and must be considered to have a great chance of winning the IWF title, nevertheless, Jed Masters has recently stated his aim of one day being considered the greatest IWF Champion of all time, and, having recently pinned BG James, will be confident of another successful defence.

YOUNGSTA v KID RICHIE

Kid Richie, who made his IWF debut in 2004 and appeared regularly in 2005, makes his return to the town he made his biggest impression in the IWF in. His opponent will be the former IWF Champion Youngsta, who rebounded from losing the IWF Championship to Jed Masters in February by beating Pauly C in March. The winner of this match will be given the status of number one contender to the IWF Championship, although Youngsta has been questioning the IWF Championship committee as to why he has not been handed an automatic rematch. He was told that he would have to earn a rematch due to his habit of refusing to defend his title towards the end of his title reign.

IWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
TEAM WITH NO NAME v 'CHARVA MC' PAULY C & 'RANK OUTSIDER' ROBBIE RYDER

The 'Team with No Name' ('Twisted Messiah' Adam Christ' and Flower Child) defend their IWF Tag Team Championships for the first time against the makeshift team of 'Charva MC' Pauly C and 'Rank Outsider' Robbie Ryder. Ryder comes into this match on the back of the biggest win of his career (Against Micky L) and has chosen the IWF Rookie of the Year Pauly C for his partner. Rumours of a rift in the Champions camp have been firmly denied, despite the two failing to successfully work as a team in their triple threat 'Ring of Faith' title match against Jordan Wright in March.

WRIGHT STUFF 2000 (w/Lexx) v LEE KYLE & JORDAN WRIGHT

A first time ever match, as Joey Wright, with his best friend Billy Morrison attempts to weaken Lee Kyle for their upcoming 'Wheelie Bin of Death!!!' match in a tag team match. Sadly for Joey, Kyle has chosen as his partner, Joey's brother Jordan Wright. The two feuded throughout 2006, and thus far, have never managed to make up. Indeed, as recently as February, Morrison came close to beating Jordan Wright for his cherished Ring of Faith Championship.

'JUNIOR DRAGON' LEWIS BEARDSLEY v MARTIN KIRBY

IWF Junior Academy Champion 'Junior Dragon' Lewis Beardsley will face the debuting Martin Kirby in a non-title match. This match will come about as a result of Beardsley requesting the opportunity to prove himself against bigger and more experienced wrestlers than those he is used to facing in the junior academy. He has admitted that he does not know whether or not he is ready to step up quite yet, but IWF management have granted his request, and he will face some difficult tests on the next few IWF shows. His opponent on this show, although this will be his IWF debut, is not short of experience, having recently made his Wrestling Channel debut.

RICKY 'VAN' JAN (w/Big Gary) v EL PELIGRO

These two talented junior academy competitors meet again following Peligro's pinfall victory in a tag team match over Jan back in February. Jan will be accompanied by his sponsor Big Gary of Big Gary's Vans, who will go to any lengths to ensure that his man emerges with his hand raised.   BAD BAD LEROY BROWN   Following his impressive February debut, where he pinned Lee Kyle after a vicious lariat, Bad Bad Leroy Brown has stated that he will be in Gateshead on 21st April. He has no opponent nor any apparent motive for showing up, but expect fireworks when this destructive monster steps back into an IWF ring.
