PTW: Details For "Indestructible"
by Devilish Angel on 7 September 2007 4:13 pm

Wrestling 101 UK Scene RSS Feed | Feeds

Thanks to Power Trip Wrestling for sending the following in

It's been a hectic couple of weeks in the Power Trip Wrestling Office, we've had everything going on and as ever with PTW - everything we do is loud! But the main thing is that we can announce that Power Trip Wrestling will present "Indestructible", on Friday 21st September, at Luton Rugby Club, Luton. Here's what we've got announced so far for the show!

PTW CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH!

At the last PTW show in August, "Glory Days", the first ever PTW Cruiserweight Champion was crowned, and it was G "The Ghetto Superstar", formerly known as Perry Lang in promotions such as BRAWL and others. After winning the match and whilst trying to celebrate his victory, he was attacked viciously by what he thought was his friend - Dan Ryder. Clearly, bitterness took over Ryder's mind and became more important than friendship; as he left G laying flat in the ring. So, now it's time to see if Dan Ryder can back it up when he is face to face with G - with the PTW Cruiserweight Title on the line.

EAW TAG TEAM MATCH!

Here at PTW, we pride ourselves on working arrangments with other promotions, and this is another example of our beliefs. Coming from EAW (East Anglia Wrestling), the arrogant team of 'Special Agent' Nick Bourne, and his tag team partner 'Hotshot' Tyler Haze; will face off against the popular duo of Wheeler, and 'Superstar' Dan Ortiz. This one is bound to be exciting, as all the participants will want to show what EAW is all about!

NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE PTW HARDCORE TITLE - UP FOR GRABS!

PTW Owner Peter Staniforth has decided that after PTW Hardcore Champion Jim Brooks decided to relocate to Luton, and has taken his side in what was a very popular decision with the PTW fans; that there were many options to decide a new number one contender for the title. So, on Sept 21st, we will see a triple threat match, with three of PTW's toughest kicking off in the name of proving they are worthy of being considered the main threat to the PTW Hardcore Title. First off, is the imposing 'Scouse Powerhouse' himself; the man known as Frantastic. Secondly, is the veteran baseball bat swinging star known as American All-Star; who will have his ever present valet Miss Vicky with him in his corner. And to finish the equation, the former PTW Hardcore Champion and Luton's very own - Leon X. A former champion who wants to reclaim the title, and two men who are hungry to prove a point; what more could you ask for in a triple threat match? This one is set to hit....HARD.

TAG TEAM ACTION!

On a mission to get under the skin of PTW Owner Peter Staniforth, are UCW's Gangster, and his tag team partner Hubert. In retaliation to these ongoing antics, Peter has been throwing constant obstacles and challenges at them. Last month, they overcame the team of 'Youth Gone Wild' (Will Davison & Ant Lacayo), much to the disapproval of the PTW Owner. This time, the stakes have been upped dramatically once more; as Peter has personally chosen the team of the PTW Hardcore Champion Jim Brooks, and 1PW star Andy Simmonz. Andy Simmonz is making his return following his debut in PTW last month, which needs to be pointed out was a winning debut too. Everyone knows the undoubted talent of Andy Simmonz, and with Jim Brooks in his corner; Gangster and Hubert may well have bitten off more than they can chew this time.

WHEN TOUGH GUYS COLLIDE!

And to finish the announcements for now, PTW "Indestructible" will see Brian Braddock, a man who is on a rapid rise in both PTW and wrestling itself; face without a doubt his biggest challenge to date. Braddock is known to be intensely tough and capable of taking an incredible amount of punishment, and still coming back to take victories. But will that be enough, against the former LDN champion known quite simply as Ashe. Ashe's reputation speaks for itself, he is respected all around the country as a top drawer performer; and he will be looking for his first win in PTW after having just come up short against 'Wonderkid' Jonny Storm back in July at PTW's "Faith, Hope, & Charity". This is set to be a great match, and worth the ticket price alone!

A TAG TEAM REUNITES!

September 21st will also see a classic tag team reunite, and that team is The Players Club. Rich N' Famous and 'Diamond' Damon Kruiz, who have been tag team champions in a past reincarnation in smaller promotions, will be making their comeback; against the team of Matt Naylor and Rolling Aikeda. The Players Club are back and with a point to prove, with Naylor and Aikeda looking to make a name for themselves.

THE MAIN EVENT!

And the main event of the night is a Triple Threat Match, with the following PTW stars set to collide for not just the TBW Heavyweight Championship, but the BRAWL Heavyweight Championship too. Shabazz is the current holder of both titles, and he will be defending his belts and his honour against two high profile UK wrestlers. One, is Irish Whip Wrestling star, "The Slapheaded Superman" Keego Ward, who is making his PTW debut under very notable circumstances. Keego has made it clear though, that he's not there to "give a damn what those idiot fans think", and is in PTW purely "to take the place over as only I can". And the other factor in the match, is Real Deal Wrestling star Sykes. Sykes is the dark horse in this match, his abilities in the ring are well respected, and his agenda is surely to both make an impact and to win both titles. So this is quite simply, a main event not to miss - on an evening that is sure to shape PTW even further as the best wrestling promotion in Bedfordshire!
