FightDVD, official UK distributors of Ultimate Fighting Championship DVDs and merchandise, have announced the retail launch of UFC merchandise at selected zavvi stores across the country.
Previously only available online at fightdvd.co.uk, the merchandise range which includes t-shirts, hoodies, caps and beanies will be available from the beginning of March.
To celebrate the retail launch of the range, UFC legend and former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell will make a public appearance at zavvi's flagship store in Piccadilly Circus, London on Thursday 13th March at 5.30pm. For more details about this event please visit fightdvd.co.uk or zavvi.co.uk. Liddell will fight in the UK for the first time at UFC 85 on 7th June at the O2 Arena.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship is the world's premier mixed martial arts organization and is enjoying rapid growth in the UK. Since establishing a UK office at the beginning of 2007 the company has held four sold-out events in the UK which have consistently broken venue records for merchandise sales. Further events are planned for 2008.
UFC merchandise is regularly seen on TV, as it is frequently worn by contestants in the successful reality TV series The Ultimate Fighter, broadcast on Bravo.
