On the back of TNA's much vaunted first live taping, came a showing off of the shiny new wrestling title taking it's name from the show and being handled by the trusty hands of Midway Games. A 70% complete build of the title was on offer, with some of the roster on hand to show off Midway's wares and reveal some interesting if somewhat brief details of what we have instore come the currently planned June release date.

Fourteen strong of the roster were playable including Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Homicide, Hernandez, AJ Styles, Christian, Kurt Angle, Abyss, Scott Steiner, Eric Young, Chris Sabin, Rhino, Christopher Daniels and Booker T; with it also revealed that the final roster will feature a grand total of 25, which the Herald states will include Jay Lethal, Alex Shelley,  Petey Williams and Robert Roode (allowing hope to remain for Shark Boy's inclusion).

As the Herald goes on to state, plans are already afoot for the sequel (on the back of the news of TNA's potential profits for this year) to take forward the franchise, all is looking rosy. The talk will not die down of the game harking of the legendary 'No Mercy' on the playing side of affairs, but still we wait as ever with baited breath.
