WWE: The Great Khali causing controversy in his homeland of India

Great Khali's return to India has put the Punjab Armed Police in a difficult situation, as they are trying to determine whether they should punish him for not following through his work as a police officer. DNAIndia.com reports that he took a six-month leave from the police force to visit the United States back in 2006. He later sought a six-month extension on medical grounds.
"But there has been no word from him after that," Ranjan Gupta said. "Surely, that's no discipline." The story also notes that while Khali has been making millions in WWE, he continues to receive his monthly salary of Rs15,000 from the Punjab police. To read the full story, click here.
