The 18'th edition of The Great American Bash came to you, live, from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, NY. Match Results - WWE Tag Team Championship: Fatal 4-Way: Hawkins & Ryder (SD) def. The Miz & John Morrison (c) (ECW), Jesse & Festus (SD), and Finlay & Hornswoggle (ECW) by Curt Hawkins pinning Jesse following a dismount from the top rope to win the WWE Tag Team Titles.
- United States Championship: Shelton Benjamin (SD) def. Matt Hardy (c) (ECW) by pin following the Pay Dirt to win the WWE United States Title and bring it back to SmackDown.
- ECW Championship: Mark Henry (c) def. Tommy Dreamer by pin following the Big Splash to retain.
- Chris Jericho def. Shawn Michaels by referee stoppage when Shawn Michaels was unable to continue due to heavy bleeding and severe eye problems.
- First Ever Divas Championship: Michelle McCool def. Natalya by submission to the McHook to become the first ever Divas Champion.
- World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) & Batista fight to a Double DQ when Kane attacks both superstars; CM Punk (c) retains.
- New York City Parking Lot Brawl: JBL def. John Cena by pin after throwing Cena off of the stage and into a car windshield.
- WWE Championship: Triple H (c) (with Vickie Guerrero) def. Edge (with Alicia Fox) by pin following the Pedigree to retain.
