The following is from WWE.com: This past Friday, SmackDown exploded onto MyNetwork TV, earning an astonishing 2.3 Nielsen rating for the show’s All Star Kick-Off premiere, breaking the record for the highest-rated show in the history of the network and scoring over 200 percent higher ratings than the network did at the same time last year. The dynamic, new tag team combination of WWE and MyNetwork TV has quickly taken Friday nights by storm. Friday night's new biggest duo scored a monumental victory in the ultra-competitive television standings by once again proving its championship caliber, and besting their competition in drawing over 33 percent more in the much-coveted male 18-34 demographic. Over 3 million members of the WWE Universe tuned in as every champion competed and more than 50 Superstars were in action for the extravaganza event, including a torrid-paced Champion vs. Champion Triple Threat Match where WWE Champion Triple H defeated World Champion Chris Jericho and ECW Champion Matt Hardy. The record numbers could be shattered again this week as the WWE Universe tunes in to SmackDown for the aftermath from No Mercy, including Undertaker's reaction to being knocked out by Big Show at Sunday's pay-per-view. Don’t miss all the action on SmackDown on Friday nights at 8/7 CT on MyNetwork TV.

| I know it’s been a little while since I’ve done a blog, but I’m back to give my thoughts on No Mercy, RAW, and the upcoming Cyber Sunday pay-per-view on October 26 (which, coincidentally, is CM Punk’s birthday and he is also the featured star on the poster).
Let’s start with this past Sunday’s No Mercy [...] |
| CBlog XXVII- RAW, SmackDown and No Mercy By Cassidy Haslett on 18 September 2008 |
| I did not post a blog last week because I did not feel that RAW was really worth posting a blog about. It was okay, but nothing much to discuss. This week, there is a bit more to discuss and I also wanted to provide my thoughts on SmackDown and the current line-up for No [...] |
| CBlog XXVI- Thoughts on WWE Unforgiven 2008 By Cassidy Haslett on 9 September 2008 |
| The 10′th WWE Unforgiven in Cleveland was just awesome and worth the $39.95 I paid. Sure, every match was not great, but I look at the overall when I judge a pay-per-view. Here are my thoughts on Unforgiven:

| CBlog XXV- WWE RAW, Rey and Unforgiven By Cassidy Haslett on 2 September 2008 |
| RAW was average to me this week. Granted, it may have been better had there not been spoilers on every single wrestling site or in every wrestling email I got after RAW was taped this past Sunday. It was nice to see Randy Orton make an appearance on RAW, even though it would have been [...] |
