Wrestling Event in Chingford London

Revolution British Wrestling are returning to the popular London venue Ryan Hall, in Chingford, London. This will be the third time in which Revolution British Wrestling will be returning to the venue, following previous events in March and June, and with the British Welterweight and British Middleweight Championships on the line, as well as the home town tag team the New Breed on hand, this could be the best event yet!

The card for the 24th July is confirmed so far as being:

MAIN EVENT - Tag Team Contest:

The New Breed – Ashe and Curve (Chingford, London)

vs

Stixx (Finchley, London) and Chris Wyld (Maidstone, Kent)

The New Breed are a tag team from our very own Chingford, made up of Ashe and Curve who have wrestled all over the United Kingdom, and are making their return to the Ryan Hall.

In this match, the team will be against the Southern Alliance combination of Stixx and Chris Wyld, who are the present and undefeated Tag Team Champions.

We are sure that the home town fans will be cheering on the local tag team, the New Breed in their bid to become British Tag Team Champions, but will the Southern Alliance once again prevail and win yet another contest?

British Welterweight Championship Contest:

"The Gift" Ross Jordan (Hertford, Hertfordshire)

vs

Sammy Ray (c) (Chelsea, London)

Sammy Ray ended the four-month British Welterweight Championship reign of “The Gift” Ross Jordan in March of this year, in the nearby town of Enfield. Ross Jordan, a member of the Southern Alliance, has vowed that he will regain his former title.

The contest promises action to be thick and fast, and we are sure that the popular Sammy Ray will do his best to prevent Ross Jordan from gaining a second reign as Champion.

British Middleweight Championship Contest:

"Misfit" Jorge Castano (c) (Cali, Colombia)

vs

Dragon Phoenix (Northfield)

Reigning British Middleweight Champion, "Misfit" Jorge Castano will be making his second appearance in Chingford at this event. He took part in a match against Johnny Kidd back in March, which he lost, coincidentally, the match was for the British Middleweight Championship, which Kidd held at the time. And in fact, it was Johnny Kidd who Castano finally defeated over two months later at the end of May in Hitchin, Hertfordshire to raise the Championship.

Opposing Castano will be Dragon Phoenix, who will be making his first ever RBW appearance. Dragon Phoenix has been a professional wrestler for just under four years, so will hold an experience disadvantage against the experienced Jorge Castano. However, Dragon Phoenix has caused quite a stir in the West Midlands area, and stands a chance here to perhaps cause a huge upset victory, against the arrogant Colombian star.

Also on the card, are Colombia’s international wrestling superstar "Misfit" Jorge Castano, the masked star from Black Mountain known only as Ghloom, Birmingham’s “Sadistic” Jack Storm and the notorious high-flying star Spud.

Three-Way Contest:

"Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter (Birmingham)

vs

Spud (Birmingham)

vs

"Sadistic" Jack Storm (Birmingham)

In what is an extremely rare spectacle, three of the UK's top young wrestlers will do battle in a three-way contest. What's surprising is that all three grapplers are from the city of Birmingham!

For fans who saw the monthly event in Enfield last month, the ending of the Battle Gauntlet saw "Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter win it (after already defeating Johnny Kidd in a huge upset earlier). Unfortunately for Spud, the referee didn't see him eliminate Hunter, which led to Hunter's return into the ring to eliminate Spud and win the contest.

Rob Hunter and Spud have had an on-going feud which has been taking place for several years, and one other wrestler to be involved is "Sadistic" Jack Storm. Storm, noted for a very vicious array of manoeuvres inside the wrestling ring, has a record of two straight victories over Spud this year alone, and is widely tipped as a potential star for the future.

In the Enfield Battle Gauntlet as well, it was Jack Storm who was eliminated by Rob Hunter. Perhaps a wrestling-reply from Jack Storm doing exactly the same to Rob Hunter during a May Battle Gauntlet, when RBW bought professional wrestling back to the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.

Battle Gauntlet

Stars the wrestlers from the night's contests, as well as some extra wrestlers.

Wrestlers enter at one-minute intervals, with the last wrestler left in the ring following over-the-top rope eliminating between the wrestlers, being declared the winner.
