The World Association of Wrestling returns to the Atlantis Resort in Great Yarmouth this coming Monday, 2nd August, to present their Summer Sizzler 2004 show, with six great matches scheduled.
The show will be headlined by a match for the WAW British Title, as the champion, the Zebra Kid, defends his belt against Essex star Paul Tyrell. The contest will fought under the new championship rules, over ten three minute rounds, and over the best of three falls.
Former WWF legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts returns to WAW this Monday, going up against "Flying" Phil Powers. Roberts and Powers have had a long-standing rivalry that stretches back to the beginning of the year, and they have fought each other all over the country. At the Summer Sizzler, they'll be bringing their war to WAW.
In a match that will showcase the growing women's division in Britain, Team WAW, consisting of the Sweet Saraya, "Naughty" Nikki Best and Destiny will be facing their UWA counterparts, Erin Angel, Ashley Paige and Lisa Fury.
In the first round of the Atlantis Cup, one of Britain's top young stars, Zak Zodiac, will be facing one of Britain's most promising rookies, the masked Amazing Red.
Following on from his defeat at the first Yarmouth show, "Rowdy" Ricky Knight will try and get back on the winning track by going up against Liverpool's own Frankie Sloan.
And after his win on the first show, current WAW Cruiserweight Champion Steve Quintain will be facing off against Steve Morocco. Fans will know Morocco from his recent matches in the UWA.
