CBlog XXI- WWE Releases Six More
by Cassidy Haslett on 15 August 2008

In WWE’s efforts to “clean up” the roster, they have released five more WWE Superstars and a WWE Referee. None of these releases come as a major surprise and I support all of them, because it means they are getting rid of the old and pretty much useless and, hopefully, bringing in some new talent. Anyways, here’s my thoughts on the releases:

Colin Delaney- He had a nice run as a less-successful version of Mikey Whipwreck, so he should be glad that he was once employed by the WWE (not to mention got to appear on TV for quite some time).

Stevie Richards- Richards is a good talent, but he’s not going anywhere and has been jobbing ever since the Right To Censor disbanded way back in 2001. He’s had a good run in the WWE and it’s time he moved on to other promotions.

Cherry- Another talent that was not going anywhere, ever. She’s been doomed since they dropped her as Deuce N’ Domino’s valet/manager.

The Highlanders (Rory & Robbie McAllister)- A tag team that was just jobbers and never really popped as a team on TV. These two releases were a long time coming. I also think these two can do good elsewhere, but as singles stars. Of course, Russell Murray (Rory McAllister) has a wife and kid at home, I think.

Wes Adams- To many, this name falls under the “who?” category. For those who don’t know, Adams has served as a SmackDown Referee for a little while now. He was one of the more generic looking ones. No loss here.

It kind of gives you an idea of the type of talent the WWE is disposing of when Stevie Richards is the biggest name released in this batch.

You will probably hear from me again after SummerSlam this Sunday. Peace.

Surprised with Cherry going she got some sort of a push. Not much but to get a push in divas you need to be pinning the undertaker most nights lol Think NATALYA is too good for the WWE to know what to do with.
