WWE: My Hopes For 2010
by David Ruse on 11 January 2010
The coming year promises to be an exciting one in the WWE; Bret Hart has made a never-expected return, new stars are being handed their shot at the big time and the allurement of another Wrestlemania is almost upon us. No-one knows exactly what the future will bring, but here are my wishes for the next 12 months.

Ruses WWE Raw Review: 4th January 2010
by David Ruse on 5 January 2010
You’ve got to love Vince McMahon haven’t you? Bret Hart was treated to a lovey-dovey, steeped-in-history return full of respect and adulation but just when peace had seemingly been restored – bang, the WWE chairman pounced. McMahon’s actions came as no surprise but the way the carrot was so handsomely dangled and then abruptly snatched away was brilliant; 12 years in the making, it did not disappoint.

Ruses WWE Raw Review: 28th December 2009
by David Ruse on 30 December 2009
With Hulk Hogan making his TNA bow at the same time, Vince McMahon has pulled out all the stops to ensure that Raw wins the ratings war next Monday night. Jeri-Show will get their deserved rematch against DX, while Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston will also settle their scintillating rivalry.

Ruse’s WWE Raw Review – 21st December 2009
by David Ruse on 22 December 2009
Christmas editions of Raw are always littered with comedic skits and 2009’s festive offering was no exception. We had an array of small folk, Tiger Woods-related satire, mistletoe-based segments, various Secret Santas, further humiliation for Chris Jericho and to top it all, Mae Young puckering up her lips whilst dressed in all-to-revealing Yuletide garb.

Ruse’s WWE Raw Review – 14th December 2009
by David Ruse on 16 December 2009
It was awards night on Raw and the show was not lacking any glitz and glamour. The Slammy trophies glistened due to the cheap imitation gold they were coated in, while the Divas looked pretty as a picture in their elegant frocks. It was just a shame that the wrestling could not keep pace with the snazzy ceremony surrounding it.

WWE 2009 Slammy Awards – My Winners
by David Ruse on 14 December 2009
The 2009 Slammy Awards will be presented on Raw and while my predictions will be of very little interest to Vince McMahon and his trophy-deciding cronies, here are the superstars who I think deserve to pick up the prizes.

Ruse’s WWE Raw Review – 7th December 2009
by David Ruse on 9 December 2009
TLC’s WWE title match has just been cranked up a notch. While previous episodes of Raw have seen Sheamus look like just another opponent for John Cena, this Monday night in Dallas, the Celtic Warrior portrayed himself as a serious challenger.

WWE: Too Many PPVs?
by David Ruse on 15 November 2009
The old adage that less is more certainly applies to WWE pay-per-views – the fewer there are, the better they seem to be. At the moment, however, Vince McMahon does not agree. While he has been talked into reducing the 2010 PPV number to 13, that still leaves at least one Sunday-night spectacular a month and two in the case of next October, a number that is just too high.
