SSP#28: WWE Money in the Bank 2010 Predictions
by Edgedogg on 18 July 2010
Hello my peeps… and welcome to another edition of the Shooting Star Press.
Fatal Four Way was very interesting and quite unpredictable, but those are the PPV’s I love. Many people may think that I get upset when I get my predictions wrong, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Unpredictability in wrestling is a very rare thing nowadays, especially when it is being targeted at the PG market. With that said, I am always happier when I am unable to predict the outcome, as it’s that element of surprise and shock factor that I miss about wrestling. Although certain elements of the previous PPV were predictable, in my opinion, Alicia Fox, Sheamus and Rey Mysterio coming out with titles would not be on the list. I salute anybody that was able to predict those outcomes. With that said, let’s get down to the July History session and try to predict the upcoming PPV Money in the Bank.

SSP#26: WWE Over the Limit 2010 Predictions
by Edgedogg on 23 May 2010
Hello my SSP peeps; I hope you all are well. It’s been an interesting month of developments since my last predictions, including the releases of some surprising names, unexpected NXT eliminations and a WWE Draft that has made Raw very strong and made Smackdown less appealing due to the network issues. Despite all the new developments, this months Over the Limit PPV is featuring 2 matches replicated from the previous 2 PPV’s. I am looking forward to both feuds ending this month so we can move forward with fresh feuds going into Fatal 4 Way.

SSP#25: WWE Extreme Rules Predictions
by Edgedogg on 21 April 2010
Hello my SSP peeps, it’s time once again for those monthly PPV Predictions. This time I shall be tackling WWE Extreme Rules, formerly known as Backlash at this time of year. We say goodbye to yet another famous PPV after 11 years. I may just speak for myself on this one, but I regarded Backlash as the only In Your House turned PPV to actually stand out from the big four. Those being, The Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam and Survivor Series. It was always the PPV that followed Wrestlemania with a different spin on some matches from the big one. The name was very fitting also; it was called Backlash because it was for superstars who didn’t get their way at Wrestlemania to get some payback. At this stage I’m just going to have to adapt to these new PPV changes. The WWE seem to think its going to help their PPV buyrates and PG persona etc etc…so we’ll just have to wait and see.

SSP#24: My WWE Wrestlemania 26 Experience
by Edgedogg on 11 April 2010
“$50 Million Dollars”… No… that opening quote has nothing to do with the Million Dollar Man…that quote is from a local Phoenix newspaper that stated that Wrestlemania 25 brought approximately $50 million into the economy of Houston last year. You might wonder why I mention this….so let me explain and welcome you to a special edition of the SSP describing My Wrestlemania 26 Experience.

SSP#19: WWE Royal Rumble 2010 Predictions, Good Idea Bad Idea and the SSP Top Ten
by Edgedogg on 17 January 2010
It’s 2010 and I’m back with my wild predictions and wrestling input. It’s been 4 months since my last blog and for that I apologise; I’ve been kept busy with various responsibilities but have returned on the anniversary of my first blog for wrestling101 to bring you my predictions on the Royal Rumble as well as the latest going’s on and the usual SSP features.
Since I’ve been away a lot has happened; the return of the Monday Night Wars, the return of Bret Hart, the rise of Sheamus (who I featured on my One to Watch back in July) along with numerous others, Tommy Dreamer leaving ECW and the sad passing’s of Eddie “Umaga” Fatu and “Dr. Death” Steve Williams. Wrestling has changed so much over the last year and in most ways I feel for the better. The WWE finally has some competition again and the youth are finally finding their feet within the company; I expect 2010 to continue with the change beginning with the traditional and always popular Royal Rumble.
