Word is breaking from tonight’s taping of this week’s WWE Smackdown about some big news. If you don’t want to be spoiled for this week’s show, please don’t read any further!

OK, news breaking from Columbus, Ohio is that The Corre’s Wade Barrett defeated Kofi Kingston to become the NEW Intercontinental champion. Preston born Barrett hit his Wasteland finisher on Kingston to claim the belt. This will presumably air on this Friday’s showing of Smackdown.
