Big WWE News: RAW Superstar on His Way Out of the WWE!

Posted on November 26th, 2011 by wwe-john-morrison-2

After a tumultuous year in the WWE that started around WrestleMania XXVII when he was less than kind to legendary Diva Trish Stratus that stemmed from his girlfriend, Melina (who was released back on August 5), being excluded from the Intergender 6-Person Tag Match, it is being reported that RAW Superstar John Morrison (John Hennigan) is on his way out of the WWE. Morrison’s contract (which Morrison signed an extension for earlier this month) with the WWE expires on November 29 (this coming Tuesday) and WWE is not looking to renew it.

Since WrestleMania, the former Intercontinental Champion has been being “punished” for his treatment of Trish Stratus, not to mention the backstage attitude of his girlfriend, Melina. After having to take time off following surgery to repair a pinched nerve in his neck in April, the WWE put Morrison on a long losing streak, but it looked like things might be turning around for Morrison lately as he was put into matches for the Intercontinental and United States Title (most recently challenging Dolph Ziggler for the United States Title at Survivor Series). Despite it looking like Morrison may be kept around in the WWE, both Morrison and the WWE are looking to part ways from each other.

In his WWE career, John Morrison is a one-time ECW Champion, three-time Intercontinental Champion, and a five-time tag team champion (winning the World Tag Team Titles once with The Miz and winning the WWE Tag Team Titles three times with Joey Mercury and one time with The Miz). Morrison was also the co-winner of Tough Enough III with Matt Cappoteli, as well as a two-time Slammy Award winner, winning for 2008 Tag Team of the Year (with The Miz) and 2008 WWE.com Exclusive of the Year (with The Miz).

Well I can say this is a dissapointment because John had a lot of talent and many fans like me. Im gonna miss him, and ive been a fan ever since MNM with Joey and Melina. And I use to watch ECW for Morrison and CM Punk back in 2007. I really hope he can re-sign to WWE but what can we do.

It may not be the worst thing, put it this way, in 2005 Christian left and went to TNA and became top dog, he then came back 3 years later to the WWE then eventually became a main eventer every week. He still has years left in him to come back, personally I’d love to see him go to TNA for abit, but they aren’t exactly known for using their talent well. Tell you what, if TNA gets Morrison, WWE should get AJ Styles.

John Morrison never got the WWE title and like other wrestlers in the past who ended up as champions in other companies they will lose another talented wrestler to TNA. Maybe WWE can watch Morrison become a money maker for them.
