WWE: WrestleMania 28 Makes Stadium and WWE History!

In an email sent out to newsletter subscribers, WWE announced that this year’s WrestleMania XXVIII (28) was the “most successful event in our [WWE] history”. The “thank you” email states that WrestleMania scored a record 1.3 million pay-per-view buys worldwide and was seen by more than five million fans in 105 different countries.

WrestleMania 28 also broke attendance records for it’s venue in Sun Life Stadium as 78,363 fans attended the mega-event from all 50 U.S. states and 36 countries, which is the biggest attendance ever in the stadium’s history.
