WWE: Goldust Released from Contract

After WWE.com moved the profile of Goldust (Dustin Runnels) to their Alumni section, PWInsider.com is reporting that the former Intercontinental Champion has indeed been released from his contract as a WWE Producer. The release stems from an unknown incident at the SmackDown tapings on April 24. Goldust’s last WWE appearance before his release was during the April 9 edition of RAW where he was one of several people who broke up the fight between Brock Lesnar and John Cena.
