WWE: Update on the TNA Lawsuit

PWInsider.com is reporting that TNA’s lawsuit against the WWE has caught the attention of The Associated Press and the AP notes that the ex-employee of both TNA and WWE, Brian Wittenstein (who is also being used by TNA), signed a non-disclosure agreement when he parted ways with TNA, agreeing that he would not pass on confidential information.
WWE’s top lawyer, Jerry McDevitt, says that the WWE did not try to lure Ric Flair or any other contracted TNA talent to the WWE using their knowledge of TNA’s contract details given to them by Wittenstein. McDevitt also mentions that no one asked Wittenstein to disclose the information and, when he did, they fired Wittenstein and sent the information back to TNA, adding “they sued us for doing the right thing.”
The AP has tried to contact TNA’s lawyers, as well as Brian Wittenstein, but have yet to receive a response. A hearing is scheduled for June 11, but it is being said that no one within TNA wants to talk about the lawsuit, either in private or to the public.
