WWE: Concern About RAW Going to Three Hours

F4WOnline.com is reporting that there is a lot of internal concern about RAW’s permanent move to three hours starting this Monday night. While this Monday’s three-hour 1,000th Episode will be fairly easy as there are plenty of surprise guests scheduled to show up to help fill out the show, but there is concern about what they will do to fill out the time on future episodes.
Another concern within the WWE is that, when RAW goes to three hours, it will eliminate the possibility of WWE taping SmackDown alongside RAW on a Monday if there is some occurrence that would prevent SmackDown from being taped on its normal Tuesday night. An example of such a situation was last week’s SmackDown, which had to be taped with RAW in Denver due to wildfires near the original venue for SmackDown in Colorado Springs, but with RAW going to three hours, WWE would have to tape SmackDown on a Sunday if something were to happen (which would make things tricky and a bit awkward as they would be taping SmackDown before RAW even took place, making it extremely difficult to have an accurate follow up on SmackDown).
