WWE: Hall of Famer Enters Rehab on WWE’s Dime

The Wrestling-Online Newsletter is reporting that former valet/manager and WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Lynn Sytch, better known as Sunny in the WWE, has entered rehab at the behest of her former employer. Sytch was rushed to the emergency room over the weekend and RF Video’s Rob Feinstein broke the story, saying that the WWE wasted no time in offering up the funds to send Sunny to rehab after the former Diva admitted that she needed help. Feinstein made a call to Tommy Dreamer, who immediately called the WWE and the WWE responded swiftly as, only 30 minutes after Dreamer contacted his former employer, the company had Sunny booked in a rehab facility and the WWE even picked her up from home and took her to the rehab facility.
Rob Feinstein stated the following on Facebook, “The WWE needs a lot of credit on how fast they acted and it is a good thing that they do this for anyone who has worked for the company.” What Feinstein is referring to is the section of the WWE Wellness Policy where the company offers to foot the bill for any former employee’s full rehabilitation, no questions asked.
Other ex-employees who have taken the WWE up on their rehab offer are Scott Hall, Matt Hardy, Maven, Zach Gowen, and Sabu, just to name a few.
