WWE: Chris Jericho Reveals His Departure Date!

Posted on August 2nd, 2012 by wwe-chris-jericho

WrestleScoop.com is reporting that RAW Superstar Chris Jericho revealed, during an interview with IconVision, he will be taking his leave from the WWE as of August 14. The former World Heavyweight Champion will be embarking on a tour with his band, Fozzy, to promote their new album, “Sin and Bones”, and said that he will be dedicating himself, full-time, to the tour and album promotion.

With Jericho taking a leave of absence on August 14, the first Undisputed WWE Champion in history will not be a part of the 25th annual SummerSlam (which takes place on August 19) and will only be appearing on television for the next two weeks, so expect the culmination of his current feud with Dolph Ziggler to take place on either RAW or SmackDown within the next week or two.

What do you think of Chris Jericho taking a leave of absence? Post your comments in the box below.
