WWE: NBC Airing One-Hour WrestleMania 28 Special

The Wrestling-Online Newsletter is reporting that NBC Universal issued a press release on Saturday announcing that NBC will be airing a special, one-hour version of WrestleMania 28 that will focus on the year-long rivalry between The Rock and John Cena that culminated on April 1 of this year. WrestleMania 28: Rock vs. Cena will air next Saturday, August 25, at 9/8c on NBC. This is the fourth consecutive year that NBC has aired a WrestleMania special, but the first time that the entire hour will be dedicated to the main event match.
With WWE’s new kids show, WWE Saturday Morning Slam, airing the same day at 10AM on the CW Network, August 25 will make for quite the day for WWE television.
