WWE: Complete List of 2012 Slammy Awards Categories

This coming Monday on RAW, the ninth Slammy Awards in WWE history will be handed out as the best of 2012 are honored and, for the first time ever, the winners will be selected by the fans via the new WWE App. In addition to the eight main Slammy Awards that will be handed out on RAW, there are ten Slammys that will be awarded exclusively by WWE.com (which is also where you vote for the online Slammys). The WWE.com Slammy Awards already have their nominees, but the main eight Slammys do not have set-in-stone nominees. With that said, here is the complete list of all 17 Slammy Awards for 2012, starting with the eight main awards that will be handed out on RAW:
- Superstar of the Year
- Breakout Star of the Year
- Match of the Year
- Trending Now Award (Twitter Hashtag of the Year)
- Comeback of the Year
- Kiss of the Year
- “Tell Me I Did NOT Just See That” Award (Most Shocking Moment of the Year)
- LOL Moment of the Year
And the nine WWE.com exclusive Slammy Awards (with nominees):
- Diva of the Year (AJ Lee, Layla, Eve, or Kaitlyn)
- Betrayal of the Year (Daniel Bryan dumps AJ Lee, AJ Lee leaves Daniel Bryan at the altar, Eve low-blows Zack Ryder, or Big Show knocks out John Cena at Over The Limit)
- Upset of the Year (Justin Gabriel defeats Antonio Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler wins Money-in-the-Bank, Santino Marella defeats Jack Swagger for the U.S. Title, or Daniel Bryan defeats both Big Show and Mark Henry in a Steel Cage Match)
- Feat of Strength of the Year (Sheamus’ White Noise to Big Show, Big Show K.O.’s Sheamus at Hell in a Cell, Antonio Cesaro’s Neutralizer on Brodus Clay, or Ryback’s Double Shell Shocked on Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins)
- Facial Hair of the Year (CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, or Damien Sandow)
- Crowd Chant of the Year (“Feed Me More”, “Hoeski”, “Cody’s Mustache”, or “YES! YES! YES!”)
- YouTube Show of the Year (WWE Download, Are You Serious?, Santino’s Foreign Exchange, or Z! True Long Island Story)
- Exclusive Video of the Year (Eve fires The Bellas, Daniel Bryan is “Mr. Small Package”, Jerry Lawler discusses his miraculous return, or CM Punk & Paul Heyman discuss Punk’s one-year reign)
- Tweet of the Year (Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, or The Great Khali)
