WWE: Royal Rumble Fan Fest Announced for January 26 and 27!

Posted on December 22nd, 2012 by

WWE has announced that, for the first time in the 26 year history of the Royal Rumble, there will be a two-day Royal Rumble Fan Fest on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27 (the day of the Royal Rumble) at the U.S. Airways Plaza in Phoenix, AZ. The festival will be akin to the long-running WrestleMania Fan Axxess where fans will able to enjoy live matches, Q & A sessions with the Superstars and Divas, panel discussions, and more.

Saturday, January 26 will be the first day of the Royal Rumble Fan Fest and will run from 12PM to 4PM (local time) and will feature the following events:

  • Appearances by several WWE Superstars, Divas, & Legends
  • Live WWE Matches
  • Live tournament with the winner earning a spot in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match
  • Live Musical Performances

The entire event will also feature food trucks and interactive activities. Both days will also feature three WWE Superstar Panels where a host of WWE Superstars and Legends will answer fan questions about three topics: The Montreal Screwjob (Saturday, Jan. 26 from 3PM to 6PM), The Legendary D-Generation X (Saturday, Jan. 26 from 6:30PM to 9:30PM), and The Monday Night Wars between WWE and WCW (Sunday, Jan. 27 from 9AM to 12PM).

The cost for a basic ticket to the Fan Fest is $10 and the ‘full experience’ ticket that will feature access to one of the three Superstar Panels, as well as the rest of the Fan Fest, an autographed commemorative gift, and a VIP reception with WWE Superstars & Legends start at $90. Tickets went on sale this past Thursday, December 20, at 10AM and, at last word, tickets are still available for the event.
