The 23rd edition of WWE Main Event came to you from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY. The main attraction of WWE Main Event would see the Intercontinental Champion in action as Wade Barrett goes one-on-one with longtime rival, “The Viper” Randy Orton. Also on Main Event, United States Champion Antonio Cesaro would go one-on-one with the high-flying Sin Cara in a non-title match.

- Non-Title: Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett by pin following the RKO.
- Cody Rhodes def. Zack Ryder by pin following Cross Rhodes.
- Non-Title: Sin Cara def. Antonio Cesaro by pin following a hurrincanrana off of the top rope.
Detailed Results
The opening match of the night was the highlight match of WWE Main Event as “The Viper” Randy Orton would go one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett in a non-title match. In the end, it was Randy Orton hitting the RKO on Wade Barrett en route to picking up the win over the Intercontinental Champion.
Cody Rhodes was in action on Main Event as the second-generation star went one-on-one with Zack Ryder. In the end, it was Cody Rhodes planting Zack Ryder with Cross Rhodes en route to picking up the win.
Then it was time for the main event as United States Champion Antonio Cesaro went one-on-one with the high-flying Sin Cara in a non-title match. In the end, it was Sin Cara hitting a hurrincanrana off of the top rope on Antonio Cesaro en route to picking up an upset victory over the United States Champion!
