On Sunday night it was WWE Extreme Rules, here we look at the 10 big talking points coming out of the first WWE pay-per-view since Wrestlemania 29.

It’s Extreme Rules tonight, which means WWE have spent the last 7 weeks shoe-horning the word EXTREME into every possible sentence in the most extremely extreme way any extremity has ever been…umm…extremed?

In this article, we take a look back at some of our favourite weirdest match types that you’ll be unlikely to see at this year’s, or any year’s, WWE Extreme Rules…

Something’s wrong in WWE. And I’m not saying that lightly, I know we all think something’s been rotten in Denmark for a while, but right now I’m genuinely worried about the direction the company is going in.

We all know that pro wrestling is pre-determined and more of an entertainment production than a legit sporting event. However, along with the superb athletes, larger-than-life characters and great story-telling (well, sometimes), the play-by-play announcers providing the running commentary on the action in the ring is a vital component to the overall viewing experience.

I feel like I always use some variation of “What I love about the Shield is…” as a lead-in whenever I talk about them, so it seems appropriate here. Ever since their debut it seems that every time the Shield performs there is something new to love about them. This week’s Raw is no different.

Ryback is scheduled to face an injured John Cena at Extreme Rules and is positioned to win his first major title in WWE. Is it his time? Will he capture the imagination of the WWE Universe and have a memorable run with the company’s greatest prize or will he fail miserably?

With WWE offering so much content each week, TNA must provide wrestling fans with a true alternative. We look at some of the ways TNA can do this. ..

It’s ironic that a man so well versed in the art of a villain has the birth name, Jonathan Good. Formally Jon Moxley on the independent scene (now Dean Ambrose in WWE), Good has that head turning awe that very few people in life have the ability to master…

We look at some of the men and women currently working around the North American independent wrestling scene who WWE would do well to sign up…

It sure feels like there’s not much to look forward to in the next few bleak months, right? WRONG!! What you may not realise is that there’s a whole heap of talent waiting in the wings on NXT, ready, willing, and more than able of taking the next step up to the main roster…

WWE showed on Raw that they are finally looking to the future as they elevated a number of wrestlers and laid the foundation for the coming months and years…

Remember when WrestleMania was the reboot point for the year? When everything culminated here? When it felt like a proper big wrasslin’ show, rather than an extended cash cow for the WWE to crow about?

So it’s WrestleMania weekend, and I’m…strangely unhyped. I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m gonna be watching it with my mates and the social side of it is gonna be really cool, but as for the show itself? Well, there’s not that much that I’m excited about this year…

With Wrestlemania XXIX so close we can almost taste it, Wrestling101.com offers up food for thought-in the form of a juicy round-table discussion. Dean Reilly, dsrchris and OliverJKSmith form this triple threat of thought.

At WrestleMania XXIX, John Cena will face The Rock for a second time, a rematch of their meeting last year at WrestleMania XXVIII, a match advertised as “once in a lifetime”. Their clash will represent just the latest chapter in the long tradition of WrestleMania rematches…

The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013 can certainly be considered one of the biggest classes in recent memory as, after twenty years of trying and failing, the WWE has finally convinced “The Living Legend” Bruno Sammartino to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Last week Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted that he’ll be inducting Bruno Sammartino into the WWE Hall of Fame. In this article, we’ll look at our choices for who should induct the other inductees that have been announced to far.

We’re just mere weeks away from WrestleMania, and slowly but surely all the pieces of the show are sliding into place. However one division is strangely conspicuous by it’s absence. What about my beloved Tag Teams?

So Jack Swagger has had a busy couple of weeks since returning to TV. He’s won the Elimination Chamber, securing himself not only a title shot but also a nice fat Wrestlemania paycheque in the process. He’s also been attracting the attention of certain political commentators in the US with the new gimmick he’s currently portraying.
