Press Release

Revolution British Wrestling
Saturday 17th July
Celbic Hall, Enfield, London/Middlesex

http://www.revolutionbritishwrestling.co.uk

Saturday 17th July will mark the seventh in a series of monthly RBW live professional wrestling events at the Celbic Call in Enfield, London/Middlesex.

Matches for this event have been confirmed as:

German Style Streetfight Contest
"Wildcat" Robbie Brookside (Liverpool) vs Stixx (Finchley, London)

Tension was high at the last event there in June, with "Wildcat" Robbie Brookside challenging Stixx to a German-style Streetfight contest, the first ever to be seen in RBW. Following Brookside's challenge, which was made after a controversial countout loss to Stixx in singles action, the Southern Alliance team of "The Gift" Ross Jordan, J.C Thunder and Chris Wyld defeated "Golden Boy" Cameron Knite, Eamon O'Neil and Sammy Ray. Stixx then appeared, accepting the challenge made by Brookside, taking advantage of the fact that Brookside had already left the venue.

Many fans are wondering what to expect in this contest, and the only thing we can confirm for sure, is that it could be one of the most tension-high contests ever to be seen in RBW!

Catchweight Contest
Johnny Kidd (Luton) vs "Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter (Birmingham)

Technical wrestling star Johnny Kidd will be making his Enfield return, for the first time since loosing his British Middleweight Championship to "Misfit" Jorge Castano in Hitchin, Hertfordshire this past May. Ironically, it was this very venue that Johnny Kidd defeated "Golden Boy" Cameron Knite in a tournament final to win the Championship to begin with, and he still holds a four match record here for being undefeated.

Opposing Kidd will be the much-talked-about "Sensation of the Nation" Rob Hunter. Hunter was originally scheduled to wrestle Kidd at the Enfield event in May, but favoured a financial bribe by Tex Benedict instead to let him wrestle Kidd. This time the match is booked, and looks set to take place. This won't be the first time that they have met. Longtime fans may remember last July in Nottingham, when Johnny Kidd defeated Rob Hunter two falls to one in a classic contest.

Both wrestlers in this contest favour a technical wrestling style, and it will be interesting to see who will walk out the winner.

Catchweight Contest
J.C Thunder (Soho, London) vs Spud (Birmingham)

Possibly British professional wrestling's most arrogant star, J.C Thunder makes another Enfield appearance. Thunder was here last month, loosing firstly to British Welterweight Champion, Sammy Ray, but then getting a measure of revenge by being on the winning side during six man tag team action later that evening. Previous appearances in Enfield have seen J.C Thunder win two British Tag Team Championship matches, and emerging as the unlikely winner of a Battle Gauntlet.

Taking on J.C Thunder will be the high-flying Spud. Spud has a lot of scores to settle since he lost the British Welterweight Championship to "The Gift" Ross Jordan back in December in Sheffield. A severe injury following that put Spud on the sidelines for several months. Unfortunately for Spud, his return has seen two losses to "Sadistic" Jack Storm, also wrestling tonight, one at this very venue. However, the motivated Spud is looking to bounce back, and who better to do that against than a team mate of "The Gift" Ross Jordan?

Catchweight Contest
"Sadistic" Jack Storm (Birmingham) vs Morales (Dudley)

Critics believe that the name "Sadistic" Jack Storm will be one of the biggest in British professional wrestling in the years to come. Middleweight star Storm has proved to be one of the most vicious and deadly RBW wrestlers to emerge in a while, and his unbeaten win/loss record in the past few months proves that.

It took a while for Storm to find himself in RBW, with defeats from Spud, Cameron Knite and Sammy Ray. However Storm has bounced back and is looking to make people realise just how good he feels he is.

Providing the opposition for him tonight will be the returning Dudley star Morales. Unknown to some, Morales has wrestled previously for RBW way back in 2002, but has not been seen in almost two years. During his absence, Morales has made a good name for himself in the Midlands, and is looking to bring that reputation to RBW and against fellow Midlander Jack Storm.

Battle Gauntlet

The evening is set to be rounded off in style with a traditional RBW Battle Gauntlet.

The contest will star the wrestlers from the evening's action, as well as some additional RBW stars including the masked mystery star from Black Mountain, Ghloom, Bobby Hostile, Riccardo and more.

Only one wrestler will walk out the winner, and whoever that wrestler turns out to be, they will be named the July Battle Gauntlet winner.
