WWE: Foley to wrestle at WrestleMania XX?

Former WWE champion Mick Foley noted he is in preliminary discussions with WWE to return to the ring at Wrestlemania XX this coming March, possibly against Triple H.

“He was one of my favorite opponents,” Foley said at an appearance at the University of Alabamba, according to The Crimson White newspaper. “And I keep hearing rumors he might be one of my future opponents.”

Foley discussed a number of topics during his appearance, including plans for several new writing endeavors, injuries, and of course, The Hell in the Cell.

Should Foley return to the ring at Wrestlemania XX, it would mark his first in ring appearance at Madison Square Garden as a wrestler since the 2000 Royal Rumble, where he lost a Streetfight to then WWF champion Triple H in the main event. Foley retired the following month officially, and returned for one last appearance at Wrestlemania that year. He’s currently promoting his most recent writing effort, the fictional novel Tietam Brown.
