- With Matt Hardy making the jump from Smackdown to RAW, it looks as if we’ll see Ernest “The Cat” Miller move over to Smackdown to keep things in harmony. McMahon’s current plans are for The Cat to host a Piper’s Pit style segment on Smackdown. Many wrestlers aren’t fully behind this idea and have questioned his talent during locker room discussions. Some have even asked whether McMahon ever watched WCW and had a chance to evaluate its talent before buying it.
- Kurt Angle won’t be seen in an active in-ring role until January as a result of his recent neck surgery and rehab. Until then, he won’t be attending house shows but will be at all TV tapings in a non-wrestling capacity.
