That’s right, it’s official. Frank Mir will fight Wes Sims in a highly anticipated rematch at UFC 46 on the 31st of January 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This is a real grudge match, as the two fighters originally fought back at UFC 43 in June of this year. Mir won that match by disqualification, as Sims illegally stomped Mir while Mir was on his back.
This rematch was originally meant to have taken place at UFC 45 last week, but didn’t happen due to an arm injury Wes Sims picked up in training recently from a Muay Thai kick. Let’s hope no injuries prevent the fight this time from happening.
