RBW invades London

Saturday 24th January 2004 will see Revolution British Wrestling put on their first show in the London/Middlesex region, with a show taking place in the Celbic Hall in Enfield, next door to the RBW London Training Centre, with great access nearby for public transport for buses and trains.

This event marks a special occasion for many reasons. This will be the first wrestling action that Enfield has received for a number of years, and we plan to make this event a regular occurrence with shows throughout 2004 and beyond. Also the show will feature the finals of the tournament to crown a new British Middleweight Champion, in what should be an exciting and explosive match.

The venue in which this event is being held, is of a compact size, and therefore tickets are on sale in advance only. If you would like to be at this event, then please book now, at no extra cost, to avoid disappointment. Please also remember that tickets are highly unlikely to be available on the night of the show.

We really hope that you can be part of this show, as we are sure it will be a great evening of entertainment, featuring some top-class wrestling action for all the family.

The Card:

British Middleweight Championship Final – 6×5 Minute Rounds (2 Falls, 2 Submissions, or 1 Knockout to decide the winner)

“Golden Boy” Cameron Knite (Wolverhampton) vs Johnny Kidd (Luton)

This match follows on from the recent semi finals held in December where “Golden Boy” Cameron Knite defeated Jack Storm on Sunday 7th December in Sheffield, and Johnny Kidd defeated “The Gift” Ross Jordan on Saturday 27th December in Nottingham.

British Tag Team Championships – 2 out of 3 Falls Match (No Rounds)

J.C Thunder (London) & “Rock ‘n’ Roll Express” Blondie Barratt (Sheffield) vs Will Assault (Sheffield) & “MTX” Jem Brown (Northampton)

The shares in the British Tag Team Championship have been modified. “The Gift” Ross Jordan who is the holder of the British Welterweight Championship has relinquished his share in the Tag Team Championship, giving up his place to Blondie Barratt, who will team with J.C Thunder to take on Will Assault and “MTX” Jem Brown, who team once again following their defeat back at the start of December.

Singles Action – 1 Fall To The Finish (No Rounds)

“Misfit” Jorge Castano (Cali, Colombia) vs Sammy Ray (Formerly Blackpool, now living in London)

On Saturday 27th December in Nottingham, Jorge Castano and Sammy Ray reformed their tag team combination for one night to go against Will Assault and “Golden Boy” Cameron Knite. Unfortunately for them, they were unsuccessful and lost the bout by two falls to one. Following the decision, an outraged Castano attacked Ray and left him in the ring. Since then, Sammy Ray has challenged Jorge Castano for a one-on-one contest that will happen at this event.

Singles Action – 1 Fall To The Finish (No Rounds)

Anton Green (London) vs Chris Wyld (Maidstone, Kent)

In singles action, two of Britain’s most promising young stars will continue an escalating feud that has developed through recent months on the British circuit. Anton Green, who made his debut recently in Nottingham against Keith Myatt, will do battle with a debuting Chris Wyld. Both wrestlers are no strangers to each other, having wrestled numerous times previously, and we are sure that a great contest will be put on by these two stars.

Plus a Battle Royal featuring even more wrestlers!
