wZw/Stevie Knight Weekend Training Camp

A full weekend of Pro Wrestling Training and a show at the end of it….

wZw’s ever popular training weekends are back, this time we have brought in special guest trainer Stevie Knight. There a few places left on the weekend. This is a great chance for anyone who wants to start wrestling or those who want to improve on what they have already got.

Details of the Weekend:

Friday 2nd April 2004
The doors of the centre open at 4.00pm and people are welcome to arrive after then. The first training session starts at 6.30 and will be taken by Carl Turner, Issac Harrop and Tony Warrior (The wZw Trainers). A cardio warm up will start the session and then for those who have not wrestled before will be taken aside and will be shown the basics of breakfalling and locking up. Those with wrestling experience will be working various bumping drills and running the ropes practice.

The session will finish at about 9.00 and then we will be ordering food from the local take aways, settling down with various wrestling videos and PS2 games.

Saturday 3rd April 2004
The day will start at 8.30 with breakfast, we can supply breakfasts for only £2 (Bacon or Sausage Sandwich or Cereal & Toast, Fruit Juice, Tea or Coffee). At 9.30 The wZw trainers will start the session with a intense warm up. Then into the ring for some bumping drills. The group will be split into groups in order of experience.

we will break for lunch at 12.00 for 1 hour. 1.00pm Stevie Knight will be taking over the session, it will be a mixture of practical and discussion (details to be annouced in the coming weeks). The session will go on until about 7.00. On the evening we will be having a Kareoke contest and a buffet supper (Included in the price for the weekend) for the evening. Those over 18 may bring alcohol, for those under 18, we will supply soft drinks.

Sunday 4th April 2004
8.30 will start again with breakfast, training will start at 9.30, a brief warm up and then straight into the session, again Stevie Knight will be taking the session. (details to be annouced in the coming weeks). Training will stop at 12.00 and then we break for a 30 minute lunch. All hands on the deck to get the venue ready for the show, which will start at 3.00. Everyone who wants to be part of the show will be. Even if its just a Rumble spot. The show will finish at 5.30 / 6.00pm and then once the ring is taken down and the venue cleared we can all leave and head off home.

Video’s of the weekend will be available 4 weeks after the weekend and will cost £6. (must be paid for before you leave). The video/dvd will come in a plastic case and full colour cover.

Price for the weekend: £50.00 (This includes the training sessions, stay in the centre free, the Kareoke and Buffet on Saturday Night.)
