"The world’s most dangerous man" Ken Shamrock is set to make his well anticipated Mixed Martial Arts return when he gets ready to face Kimo Leopoldo at UFC 48 in July.
That’s right. Originally, it was mostly believed that Ken Shamrock would be returning to fight David ‘Tank’ Abbott in a hugely awaited grudge match. However, it’s believed the UFC expected Abbott to take a significant paycut compared to his last deal and as a result Kimo will step up to fight Shamrock instead.
The newly adjusted match up may turn out to be an interesting affair though, as this fight will be a rematch. Both Shamrock and Leopoldo fought way back at UFC 8 in 1996. Shamrock won that bout by kneebar, but both men are different fighters now in contrast to back then.
