New bout announced for Nottingham RBW event this Saturday

Press Release:

The British Welterweight Championship is set to be defended by the new Champion, Sammy Ray this Saturday at The Vale, Colwick, Nottingham.

Sammy Ray will be put into a three-way contest against two of his top rivals in RBW. Firstly “Silent Riot” Corey Davis who he defeated in a contest on Saturday 6th March in Chingford, London, which saw both wrestlers taken to hospital. The second opponent is the wrestler who Ray beat to win the Championship, Southern Alliance’s “The Gift” Ross Jordan.

Also on the show……

British Commonwealth Champion, and forty year wrestling legend, the deaf star, Alan Kilby will be in action, being challenged by the RBW Nottingham Training Centre Head Trainer, the mat veteran and former British Mid-Heavyweight Champion,Keith Myatt. This will be Kilby’s last port of call before meeting James Mason in the finals of the tournament to crown a new British Heavyweight Champion at the Euro Sports Bar in Sneinton, Nottingham on Saturday 8th May.

The British Middleweight Championship will also be defended, with reigning Champion, and master technician, Johnny Kidd defends against Colombian born-and-raised invader “Misfit” Jorge Castano in a rematch from a previous contest in London.

Tag team action in Revolution British Wrestling is fierce to say the least, and the team at the forefront of the competition is the Southern Alliance group. In what is expected to be a very heated match-up, the tandem of British Mid-Heavyweight Champion, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Express” Blondie Barratt will team with British Tag Team Champion, Stixx, to take on the team of Sheffield’s rising star Will Assault and the Killamarsh giant, Rainz.
To round off the evening, a huge eight-man tag team contest has been signed, since a big confrontation back in December at this venue. The Southern Alliance members “The Gift” Ross Jordan, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Express” Blondie Barratt and Stixx will be teaming with “Misfit” Jorge Castano to take on the combination of Will Assault, Rainz, Alan Kilby and Johnny Kidd.

Sparks are sure to fly at this event, and we hope to see you there!
