The 17th May edition of RAW scored a 4.0 rating, with a 6.1 share, which is way up from last week’s 3.4 rating. The May 20th Edition of Smackdown! did a 2.9 rating which is up 0.1 from the previous week.
Konan has now signed a one year contract with WWE as an announcer, as reported earlier this week Konan was pushing for a job when backstage at Judgment Day.
WWE is going to hold a press conference in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on June 1st to discuss the Summerslam PPV coming up this August. The conference will be attended by Vince McMahon, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, John Cena, Edge, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Jim Ross, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson and Triple H.
It is believed that Eddie Guerrero is starting to feel the pressure of being WWE Champion. With Smackdown house show attendance declining over the past few weeks, many are starting to place the blame on Guerrero, since he is the WWE Champion. Some feel that Guerrero’s deep blade cut at Judgment Day is a sign of him trying too hard.
