In a very unfortunate turn of events, lightweight fighter Dave Roche has had to pull out of his fight with Dave Elliot. Yesterday, Roche was involved in a car accident. Roche came out of the car accident with pieces of broken glass in his eyes, which then required surgery that took place yesterday evening.

This is not the first injury to affect the Cage Rage 7 card, as UFC veteran Renato ‘Babulu’ Sobral pulled out of his fight with Mike Bisping due to a knee injury. Mike Bisping was able to get a replacement coming in the form of Cage Rage Light Heavyweight Champion Mark Epstein.
