UKPW At Nye Bevan Hall – July 29th

United Kingdom Pro Wrestling at Nye Bevan Hall – July 29th 2004

UKPW returns to London on Thursday July 29th 2004.
Matches have now been announced and are as follows:

Matches scheduled:

Marcus ‘The Toad’ Hiscott vs Chris Wyld

Originally scheduled to take place at last month’s event in Hackney, this contest pits two polar opposites against each other. Whilst Chris Wyld is brash, full of himself and always looking for a shortcut to success, Marcus Hiscott has climbed the ladder in UKPW with guts and determination and his ever improving ring abilities have seen him garner plenty of crowd support. Already developing a solid winning streak, ‘The Toad’ will be looking to add to his growing list of acheivements by scoring a victory over Wyld, something only a select few wrestlers can claim. When asked for comments on his upcoming match, Chris Wyld simply replied “Bothered”!

‘Wrestling’s Cool Kid’ Stevie James vs Aaron Jason

Last month, Stevie James and Aaron Jason were announced as the newest tag team in the ranks of UKPW. During that very announcement, Jason’s cocky attitude almost certainly put an end to what many felt would be a promising tandem. Jason and James are being given the opportunity to settle their differences in the ring and UKPW are hoping that when the match is over, their recent problems will be put behind them, allowing the duo to focus on the UKPW tag team division.

‘The Atomic Ant’ Anton Green vs ‘The Misfit’ Jorge Castano

July 29th 2004 will mark the UKPW debut of one of the finest talents in all of the UK. Born in Columbia, Jorge Castano has established himself as a feared and respected competitor on the UK scene. During his eight years as a pro wrestler, ‘The Misfit’ has not only wrestled the best but also beaten the best including UKPW’s own Ethan ‘The Heat’ Hayze and the great Johnny Kidd. Opposing ‘The Misfit’ on this night will be ‘The Atomic Ant’ Anton Green who, despite being a major underdog, has pulled off some impressive wins in the past. However, victory may take a back seat to survival on this night as Jorge Castano has proven to be as ruthless as they come and would not think twice about putting ‘The Atomic Ant’ out of commission should the opportunity present itself.

Main Event:

The Green Machine & Stevie James vs Jorge Castano, Chris Wyld & Aaron Jason

Following the earlier singles bouts, all six men will return to the ring in a six man tag team match. This promises to be an action packed contest and will likely prove to be the battleground where grudges (which are likely to be furthered that night) will either be settled orintensify much further.

Plus:

In addition to these matches, Ethan ‘The Heat’ Hayze will also be making an appearance on the show. For those that may not be aware, Ethan has been out of action since April after suffering two ruptured muscles in his abdomen and a seperated tendon. Originally scheduled to compete at last month’s event, ‘The Heat’ was unable to appear due to the aforementioned injuries.
