Press Release

ZEBRA KID REINSTATED AS BRITISH CHAMPION

“Following a meeting of the WAW Championship Commottee after our show in Great Yarmouth last night, and after careful study of the of the video footage, we have upheld the Zebra Kid’s appeal and have reinstated him as the British Heavyweight Champion.

The video evidence showed that Paul Tyrell maliciously stopped the Zebra Kid from re-entering the ring during their title match in Great Yarmouth on August 2nd.

As a result of the committee’s decision, the Zebra Kid will now face “The Dark Angel” Ashe in a title defence at the Town Hall in Hunstanton on Friday, August 20th. However, no matter what the outcome of the match, the Zebra Kid will still face Paul Tyrell at WAW’s 10th anniversary show, “The War of 2004”, at The Talk in Norwich on Saturday, September 11th. “
