FWA Hotwired 2004: The latest News

Spanky has already been announced as headlining the FWA Hotwired weekend at the Morecambe Dome on Saturday September 4 and at Hotwired itself, at Broxbourne Civic Hall on Sunday September 5. Ever since this announcement, made at the last FWA Live in Morecambe show on Saturday July 31, speculation has been rife that one other American superstar will be jetting in to compete on these two dates. That speculation is incorrect. In actual fact, there will be TWO other American names competing on both of these shows.

FWA management is currently finalising negotiations with one of these wrestlers and http://www.frontierwrestling.com should be in a position to name both of them in our next news update this coming weekend. But just to repeat, there will be THREE top American independent superstars (including Spanky) appearing at both Morecambe and Broxbourne on September 4 and 5.

STORM BREWING
Recently Jonny Storm arrived back in the UK following a tour of Thailand and rumour has it The Wonderkid is already angling to get back into the FWA. Sources close to the long-reigning XPW European Champion claim that Jonny, who lost a Loser Leaves FWA Match to James Tighe in Morecambe on May 29, may use the fact that Spanky is appearing at the Hotwired weekend to coax FWA management into re-instating him. Many UK fans have long seen Spanky v Jonny Storm as a potential Dream Match and the devious Wonderkid is well aware of this fact. Stay tuned to http://www.frontierwrestling.com for developments on this story.
