Revolution British Wrestling Live Event, Saturday 25th September In Finchley, North London

Press Release

Revolution British Wrestling Live Event
Saturday 25th September in Finchley, North London

Saturday 25th September will see the first live wrestling event to take place in Finchley, North London, when Revolution British Wrestling come to town, which guarantees a night to remember for the Finchley community.

An evening of top class professional wrestling will take place, featuring some of the big stars of British wrestling, and also one wrestler who is from Finchley himself, the British Tag Team Champion and heavyweight star, Stixx, who competes against a fellow Londoner, and tag team rival from The New Breed, Chingford’s Ashe in singles competition.

On top of that, the start of a tournament is being held, that will see a new British Heavyweight Champion crowned. A top line-up of wrestlers will take part in this, and fans will be lucky as two of the most anticipated contests will be happening in Finchley, at this event, when top technical wrestler and former television wrestling star from the days of ITV wrestling, Johnny Kidd meets one of the top young stars in recent years who has several overseas tours under his belt, “Golden Boy” Cameron Knite.

The second tournament contest in Finchley is the arrogant American invader, Tex Benedict who meets the ever-intense Birmingham star, “Sadistic” Jack Storm. This contest is one that fans believe could go either way, with both wrestlers not known to make too many friends with their fellow wrestlers. Both wrestlers have a very contrasting style, which should provide an entertaining contest, with Benedict’s showboating and vocal rantings, put against Storm’s aggressive wrestling ability, which speaks for itself.

The winner of the two tournament matches above will then meet in a decider contest, with the victor moving forward in the tournament.

An all-out tag team contest is also scheduled for this event, putting two teams from the Midlands against each other. Making their RBW debuts are Swift Justice, individually known as The Judge and Falcon, they will be competing against the team of Morales and Dragon Phoenix. Both teams will be looking to gain a British Tag Team Championship contest against the reigning Champions, the Southern Alliance, which includes Finchley’s very own Stixx.

Revolution British Wrestling plan to make the wrestling events in Finchley a regular occurrence, with future events being negotiated for 2005, as well as another one at the end of this year. Nearby events include a monthly event in Chingford, London throughout 2005, other additional event locations, plus weekly training sessions in Enfield, London as well as some other locations, soon to be announced.
