FWA News Update

The FWA has called its biggest ever press conference, which will take place in London on Thursday November 11, and we understand an announcement on the main event at British Uprising 3 will be made right there. Sources say that FWA officials, including acting managing director Elisar Cabrera and Commissioner Flash Barker , and wrestlers including the British Heavyweight Champion ‘The Anarchist’ Doug Williams and ‘The Showstealer’ Alex Shane , will be present at this press conference. There are also rumours that boxer Danny Williams has also been invited to the press conference and may make an appearance – which if true, will be the first time Alex Shane and Danny Williams have been in the same room since their heated altercation at FWA Hotwired earlier this month.

The FWA has also signed another exclusive deal with The Daily Star, who will be first with news from this British Uprising press conference in their edition on Saturday October 2. Frontierwrestling.com will then report all the happenings later on that day.

Remember, Alex Shane has challenged Doug Williams to a One-Fall, Winner Takes All FWA British Heavyweight Title Match at Uprising, with the added stipulation that if The Showstealer loses, he will face Danny Williams in a wrestler v boxer match. Despite all our efforts to gain a sneak preview of what may happen at the press conference, it remains unclear if FWA management have actually agreed to sanction a Williams v Shane match. All should be revealed on Saturday.

THREE WAY DANCE – THE NEXT GENERATION

Following the signing of the All-England Title Match between Hade Vansen and Jack Xavier at British Uprising, Commissioner Flash Barker today announced that a final eliminator to determine a number one contender to the All-England Title to also take place at Coventry SkyDome.

The participants, in what should be an exciting three-way dance, will be Aviv Mayaan, Ross Jordan and Spud. Remember, FWA management were impressed with the efforts of this trio at Hotwired and likened them to the threesome of up-and-comers who were coming through the ranks – and coincidentally, also performed in a three-way at British Uprising – two years ago. Their names, of course, were James Tighe , Jack Xavier and Raj Ghosh . In fact, Mayaan-Jordan-Spud has already been unofficially billed by FWA insiders as the Three-Way Dance – The Next Generation.

The winner of Aviv Mayaan v Ross Jordan v Spud will receive a shot at the All-England Champion after British Uprising 3, whomever that will be.

This match joins Hade Vansen v Jack Xavier, Last Man Standing with the All-England Title on the line, James Tighe v AJ Styles (30 Minute Iron Man Match) and Hampton Court v Mark Sloan and Stevie Knight (FWA Tag Team Title Match) as the card for FWA British Uprising 3 begins to take shape.

Look out for more matches to be announced in the coming weeks.

FWA RETURNING TO BROXBOURNE

The FWA has confirmed its first show after British Uprising 3 will take place on Sunday November 28 at Broxbourne Civic Hall.

Although details of the actual name of this new event in the FWA Calendar are yet to be confirmed, as are any of the participants on the show, the ever-intrepid staff at Frontierwrestling.com have been able to glean some information. We believe this event will centre around a concept which has never graced a major FWA show before, and that this concept will determine a number one contender to the FWA British Heavyweight Title.

Look out for future updates for more news on the Broxbourne show on November 28.
