AVALANCHE, BRODIE STEELE AND COLT CABANA FOR OCTOBER DATES

All Star weigh-in with the first of a dozen evening bills around the country during October at the Prince of Wales Theatre, Cannock, on Friday 1st October and in most of them a formidable North American strike force headed by the two ton American Avalanche P.N.Neusz will be facing the best of British talent.

‘Liverpool Lad’ Frankie Sloan runs into the Avalanche at Cannock where the start time is 7.30 and the line-up also includes ‘Ring of Honour’s’ exciting Colt Cabana opposed by Potteries powerhouse Robbie Dynamite who makes a welcome return to competition after a lengthy lay-off with a wrist injury. Also looking to blast his way to Cannock success will be the ever-competitive ‘Brooklyn Brawler’ Julio Torres. For bookings and further information call the Prince of Wales Theatre on 01543-578762.

The transatlantic hit-squad will get a significant boost for next week’s All Star event at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill, on Friday 8th October, when the near seven-foot tall Brodie Steele arrives back from a short tour in Ireland. But white shirted hell raiser Gangrel has had to cancel plans to return to Europe for All Star from late October after being signed-up by the WWE for a series of matches along with the original Undertaker.

PEOPLE’S TITLE CLASH ANNOUNCED AS WRESTLING RETURNS TO CROYDON

Wrestling returns to the Fairfield Halls, Croydon, on Tuesday 12th October and one of the featured contests will see ‘Wonder Kid’ Jonny Storm defending the All Star People’s Championship against American challenger Colt Cabana. Storm won the big prize, the former world heavy middleweight belt, when he defeated ‘Anarchist’ Doug Williams in the very last contest as wrestling bowed-out at Bristol’s Colston Hall and is confident he can come out on top again.

But whatever the Croydon outcome, Storm will be relinquishing the title as this is one of his last bouts before heading off to Thailand. He took a great liking to the country when competing there in June and now heads back for a non-wrestling stay of at least three months. Although the rest of a bill, which marks All Star’s return to Croydon after a break of seven months, is still being finalised, there will be definite appearances by the American Avalanche, Brodie Steele and south coast powerhouse Paul Burchall.

Tickets are now available to personal callers at the Fairfield Halls box office or can be booked by phone to 0208-688-9291 and more line-up details will be available via the Wrestlecall phone hot line on 09068-121884 (cost 60p min).
