IWF News and Notes

The IWF make their London debut on Wednesday  27th October, when they perform at the Viz magazine 25th birthday party.  The event takes place at the café de Paris.  Unfortunately, no tickets are available for this event as it is by invite only, but the IWF roster are said to be tremendously excited at the prospect of performing on this star studded occasion.  Although no tickets are available, expect a run down of the card as and when it becomes available, and a review of the matches and event, once the hangover wears off!

The next IWF show in the Northeast is at Bedlington Community Centre on Sat. 30th Oct.  Tickets are £4 from the club ((01670) 824 141), a preview of the card will follow when available.

THE AVERY BROTHERS are said to be elated at becoming two-time IWF Tag Team champions and thank the fans for their support.

ASSASSIN seemed very upset at JIMMY BLADE after the main event at the Fourth Anniversary Show.  However, both men deny any falling out has taken place.

Shaun Avery, Assassin and ‘BAD BOY’ JED MASTERS have received rave reviews for their performances at the IPW show in Kent on Sept. 25th.  Assassin defeated Shaun in the first round while Jed eliminated Northwest High Flyer Spud.  Jed and Assassin met in the next round in a four way involving Tony Sefton and Jonny Storm.  The match ended when Storm pinned Assassin after a chair shot.  All three IWF competitors have been asked to return to IPW by the end of the year.

LEE KYLE and Jed Masters have both signed a contract to meet in the ring at St. Joseph’s Hall, Gateshead on November 27th.  Masters will have the fans firmly in his corner, but Kyle has let it be known that he intends to rise to the occasion for a match he considers one of the biggest of his career.

IWF Management has declared that ‘UNBREAKABLE’ BOBBY JACKSON is still very much the number one contender for the Ring of Faith title, currently held by WEAPON X.

BOOGIE KNIGHTS has decided to continue his popular impressionist character.  After ‘becoming’ the Boogfather and the Ultimate Boog lately, he has asked if you would vote on the next star for him to take off.  Email me your favourite from the following suggestions:

Saboog

The Sandboog

Boog Show

Boog Boss Man

Bam Bam Boogelow

Boog Daddy

Boog Meanie

Ravishing Rick Boog
