RBW Live Event In Luton, Bedfordshire, This Saturday

Press Release

RBW Live Event In Luton, Bedfordshire, This Saturday

A very special live wrestling spectacular presented by Revolution British Wrestling will be taking place this Saturday at the Hightown Recreation Centre in Luton, Bedfordshire.

The show is in aid of Jeanette Coles, a Luton resident who is in need of a vital operation to aid her healthcare.

In response to her desperate situation, Revolution British Wrestling have decided to put this event on with all profits raised going towards gaining her this vital operation.

The event sees two British Championship contests, putting both the Welterweight and Middleweight Championships on the line in two of the four scheduled contests.

Reigning British Middleweight Champion, “Misfit” Jorge Castano from Cali, Colombia has been on somewhat of a winning streak in recent months. In Luton, Castano will be against one half of the new Project Future tag team, Bobby Hostile from Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. Hostile will be making his second singles contest appearance, following on from a recent contest in Hitchin, Hertfordshire which saw him the unlucky loser in a contest against Flaming Red. Hostile’s tag team partner Riccardo Young was a surprise opponent for Castano last week in Chingford, London, and very nearly managed to cause a major wrestling upset if he had defeated him. Can Bobby Hostile gain Riccardo Young some revenge by defeating Jorge Castano and becoming the new British Middleweight Champion?

“The Gift” Ross Jordan from Hertford, Hertfordshire is the current British Welterweight Champion and a member of the notorious Southern Alliance group who have been doing their very best to dominate Revolution British Wrestling in the last year or so. Ross Jordan is being forced to give welterweight star Mark Shaman a shot at the Championship by RBW Officials. The two met this past February in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire in a Championship vs Hair contest which saw Shaman’s hair cut off following the contest! Since then, a number of scuffles at events between the two have fuelled an emotional rivalry between the two, with Shaman determined to become the British Welterweight Champion.

The recently returning Kid Romeo is also in action. Kid Romeo from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire recently returned to action following a lengthy absence in a contest in Hitchin, Hertfordshire against the very wrestler he’s against in Luton, Rich ‘n’ Famous who is from Hitchin, Hertfordshire. The two have had a long running rivalry all over the United Kingdom, and with the score 1-1 in RBW, both wrestlers have a point to prove!

The fourth contest on the bill sees Tex Benedict, from London, Arizona, USA return to action, following his advancing in the British Heavyweight Championship Tournament this past September. Benedict, who feels his chances of winning the Championship in 2005 are second to none, is due to face one half of the Project Future tag team, Riccardo Young in a singles contest. Young put in a tremendous effort against the reigning British Middleweight Champion, “Misfit” Jorge Castano this past weekend, and looks set to be a big star in RBW soon. Castano clearly took Young lightly, and it almost cost him his Championship, will Tex Benedict make the same mistake?

As this event approaches, with under a week to go, it looks like this could be a great start to the revival of the British wrestling scene in Luton!
