FWA GOLD RUSH – THE FULL RUNDOWN
Be a part of the first ever FWA Gold Rush on what will be a historic night in the history of Europe’s number one wrestling promotion.
The main event on Sunday November 28 at Broxbourne Civic Hall will pit FWA British Heavyweight Champion ‘The Showstealer’ Alex Shane v Burchill.
This will be the first time these two icons of British wrestling have ever squared off and in light of the recent news surrounding Burchill, it could be the last time.
Also on November 28, for the first time an FWA main show will feature a 15-man over-the-top-rope Battle Royal called The Gold Rush, where the winner will become the number one contender to the FWA British Heavyweight Title.
This match will be fought under rumble rules and the participants are ‘The Anarchist’ Doug Williams, Ulf Herman, Simmons, The Duke of Danger, Stevie Knight, ‘The Specialist’ Mark Sloan, ‘South City Thriller’ Hade Vansen, Jack Xavier, Spud, Aviv Mayaan, Ross Jordan, Stixx, Martin Stone, James Tighe and the winner of a pre-show Dark Match.
Gold Rush will also be a historic night as the show will feature the return to an FWA ring of Ulf Herman, both in the Gold Rush itself, but also in a tag team match where Ulf will team with former British Heavyweight Champion ‘The Anarchist’ Doug Williams to battle Canadian star Joe E Legend and Alex Shane’s Head of Security, Stixx.
Also on this night of firsts, the recently reinstated Jonny Storm will have his first official match back in the FWA, as he takes on former WWE developmental star and stand-out Ring of Honour technician Chad Collyer.
The firsts just keep coming, as American sensation Low Ki will get his first ever shot at an FWA Title when he goes one-on-one with the arrogant All-England Champion ‘The South City Thriller’ Hade Vansen. Fresh off his awesome 30 minute Iron Man Match at British Uprising 3 with AJ Styles earlier this month, James Tighe will also do double duty at Broxbourne when he takes on rookie sensation Aviv Mayaan.

Pre-Show Dark Match, winner gains entry into the Gold Rush
Tickets for FWA Gold Rush at Broxbourne Civic Hall on Sunday November 28 – the final FWA show of 2004 – are now on sale, priced at £35 for Gold Ringside and £25 for Silver Ringside (both of which includes entry into a pre-sh= ow dark match). Others cost £20, £15 and £10.
*Doors for Ringside Ticket Holders and FWA Fan Club members open at 5.40pm, and the Dark Match starts at 5.45pm.
Doors proper are at 6pm and the main show will commence at 6.30pm.
