NOAH Tour closer results, 4/12/04, titles on the line.

NOAH ran their December 4th rally at Yokohama Bunka Gym, claiming 4,600 paid. Results:

1. Makoto Hashi defeated Go Shiozaki in 13 minutes, 27 seconds with the Gori Thunder.

2. SUWA & Naoki Sano defeated Tsuyoshi Kikuchi & Tamon Honda in 14 minutes, 59 seconds when SUWA used his FFF facebuster on Kikuchi for the win.

3. Ricky Marvin, Ace Steel, & Scorpio defeated Kishin Kawabata, Mohammed Yone, & Daisuke Ikeda in 18 minutes, 59 seconds when Steel pinned Kawabata after a Scorpio spin-kick.

4. KENTA, Naomichi Marufuji, & Takeshi Rikio defeated Kotaro Suzuki, Richard Slinger, & Akira Taue in 16 minutes, 42 seconds when Marufuji used his Shiranui on Suzuki for the win.

5. Masao Inoue & Akitoshi Saito defeated Jun Izumida & Jun Akiyama in 16 minutes, 2 seconds when Saito used his Death Sickle (timed enziguri) finisher on Izumida for the win.

6. GHC Jr. Title Match: Yoshinobu Kanemaru defeated Takashi Sugiura in 25 minutes, 3 seconds with his Touch-Out (Spinning Brainbuster) finisher.

7. GHC Tag Titles Match: Yoshinari Ogawa & Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Donovan Morgan & Michael Modest in 17 minutes, 53 seconds when Ogawa pinned Modest after a Emerald Flowsion.

8. GHC Heavyweight Title Match: Kenta Kobashi defeated The Gladiator in 28 minutes, 21 seconds with a Moonsault press.

After the match MiSuzuki and Takayama turned up and goaded Kobashi and Kobashi agreed to a title match with Suzuki. This may happen at the January Budokuen show.

Also former GHC Jr champ Takiawa (who is a Zero-One/First On Stage grappler and also a former IWGP Jr Champ and current World.1 Jr champ) showed up and challenged Kanemaru for the much hyped ‘Strongest Jr in Japan match’ but Kanemaru said he’d think about as former foe Modest has expressed an intrest in facing him too….

2. (5/2/03 @ Tokyo Dome) Kenta Kobashi beat Masahiro Chono (28:27) with a lariat (2nd defense).
3. (8/26/03 @ Nagoya International Conference Hall) Kenta Kobashi beat Bison Smith (23:32) with a lariat (3rd defense).
4. (9/12/03 @ Tokyo Nippon Budokan) Kenta Kobashi beat Yuji Nagata (30:13) with a lariat (4th defense).
5. (11/1/03 @ Tokyo Nippon Budokan) Kenta Kobashi beat Yoshinari Ogawa (29:51) with a lariat (5th defense).
6. (1/25/04 @ Kobe World Hall) Kenta Kobashi beat Takuma Sano (25:58) with a brainbuster (6th defense).
