– JBL came out to the whole red, white and blue parade type thing. Kurt Angle comes out and challenges the champion to a match later in the show. JBL says not tonight. Theodore Long comes out and makes the title match, however, and it will be tonight.
– Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam beat Billy Kidman and Akio.
– Booker T and Eddie Guerrero beat Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree.
– Daniel Puder won Tough Enough, and was entered into the Royal Rumble match.
– Kurt Angle beat JBL via DQ.
– In a special dark match, The Undertaker beat JBL and Orlando Jordan in a handicap casket match.
